The hallmark of our community is the personal touch we incorporate into everything we do. That means one-on-one conversations, highly personalized care plans, and family-focused decision making.
Founded by Mrs. Selma Stark as an orphanage, the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania has grown to become a leading provider of short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care. The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Alzheimer’s Unit has been recognized for its exceptional care of people with memory impairment conditions.
Our current building was constructed in 1964 and expanded 1976, with a recent state-of-the-art addition designed by Boston architect DiMella Schaffer. Every detail of our five-story campus was chosen with quality and beauty in mind.
We want everyone – residents, loved ones, and visitors – to feel like part of our family. Come see why “home” is right there in our name.
